Why do we fear death? Because we don’t know what to expect after life. There is no bridge between here and there: patriarchy has put man in the central position that woman deserves as the main source of life.
Should the woman regain her inner life, the bridge to transcendence will be restored immediately.

The one who creates something is necessarily the one who knows it best. Yet there is no doubt that woman is the main contributor in the process of bringing human beings to life.
Once the man has replaced the woman and put himself in central position, the bridge between life and what comes after is broken.
What are the consequences of such a replacement?
The main one is that since life and the afterlife are no longer culturally linked, we either live completely enclosed in this life, and therefore fear what comes after – because in our lifetime we have no experience of it. Or we project ourselves fully into the Hereafter, completely neglecting this world. The first is for most of us our own experience, the second the experience of the mystics.
We can easily find confirmation of this. In reality, the more valued a woman is, the less terrifying patriarchal religions are in provoking the fear of death.
The West has the privilege of having as a milestone the incarnation of God: Jesus.
What we Westerners take for granted is totally rejected by many other cultures.
This is for example the case of Muslims who see it as a scandal, and to such an extent that they claim Jesus did not die on the cross. God – in their mind – replaces Jesus with another person, so that someone else dies instead of Jesus on the cross.
Why such a reluctance to accept God/Jesus’ incarnation and death? Because to die you must be a human.
That’s the stumbling block between Christianity and Islam. Jesus is not only God: at the same time he is a human. In Islam the two aspects: humanity and divinity are totally separated – just like men and women are.
In the West, on the contrary, where men and women have the same lifestyle, share existence, the fact that a main religious figure: Jesus, is both divine and human, surprises no one. Far from being considered an unacceptable sandal, it is fully accepted. Why? Because the spirit of the woman is accepted. She: the embodiment of the sacred par excellence. Does such a mental structure fall from the sky?
Christian religious thought has a long tradition behind it in the West. When the basics of mental building are there, you can build whatever you want on it. And even something that is apparently quite different from the first version. The foundations are the same.
It is only in appearance that the Greek and Roman religions have nothing in common with Christianity. This is totally misleading, in reality their basis is the same. The Greeks and Romans know of gods who behave like humans and even give birth to demigods, whose parents are one a god, the other a human.
How does it all relate to our main topic: why we fear death? In other words, why do we focus on aspects that seem so far removed from our fear of death, and even to have nothing to do with it?
It is only in appearance that this is so, in reality it is Jesus’ death that frees humans from their fear of dying.
How?
If Jesus dies as a human and continues to live as God, we, who share the same nature, will certainly have another life after the present life.
Objection: most religious traditions predict the existence of an afterlife. What’s the difference? The difference is that in Christianity the divine is part of the human.
Inequality between religions consists of the divine being within reach of humans or separate from them. In the latter case, ignoring what God has in store for human beings, they fear not only the Hereafter, but also life.
Yet when you are beset with fear of something, you want to get rid of that something as soon as possible. This is the case with the fear of death, which is in fact the fear of life: we only conceive of death while we are alive.
The difference between Christianity and Islam, with all the consequences that this implies, becomes evident when one stops to examine the attitude towards death which is the other side of the mirror of the attitude towards the woman.
In Islam, death is omnipresent, with it the fear of life.
Why is this so? Because God embodies the law and not love.
Love comes from the woman’s spirit: its peak is the fusion of two beings.
In religious terms, the fusion of the divine and the human can only take root when men and women live in close contact with each other.
Where the fusion at the religious level is not possible because the source – the woman’s spirit – has dried up: the man and the woman living far from each other, the fear of death is everywhere, and human beings prefer to commit suicide in order to escape the fear of death.
Terrorists decide to kill their fear of death by killing life. They blow themselves up taking with them as many lives as possible.
This is only apparently a contradiction: people get aggressive when they can’t control something, they want to destroy it. Yet here men cannot control life, neither spiritually nor physically. They decide to destroy it.
That’s how we fear death.
By all means who fears death fears life.
Death is part of a process involving all that comes before it. If we lived in life, we wouldn’t notice death. It is because we are living in death that we allow ourselves to be obsessed with it.
The woman being at the center of the life’s process, if we damage the woman’s spirit we damage life’s spirit.
To say it in a different way, the relationship with the sacred goes through the woman, if we stop the woman, we stop the sacred. The latter becomes automatically pathological, with it all aspects of life are false, sexuality in the first place.
Let’s take a closer look.
Why is there a breach between sexuality and life?
Because there is a breach between life and transcendence.
The bridge that builds the bond is the woman: her mind tends towards the whole, encompassing all the individual parts. Yet it has been replaced by the spirit of the man who values more what is partial and external.
How do we notice that ? let’s analyze an example.
It is universally recognized that women are capable of intuition at a much higher level than men. Even when this is admitted, no consequences are drawn. To put it in a better way, the consequences to be drawn are not accepted.
How does intuition operate?
You know intuitively the way you have to follow, you go along it and discover what you have been looking for.
No doubt about the vital importance of intuition, while patriarchy sees it more as a tool, as one element among others, when in fact intuition is the turning point in mental and cognitive processes. The Random House Dictionary of the English Language defines ”Intuition” as following: “direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process, immediate apprehension”.
Men cover a whole process with data and present the result as if it came from the data itself, neglecting what is behind it: how to get there. As if magic existed. The feeling of magic comes from the fact that when we look at an illusionist, we ignore what he willfully always hide from the public eye: the process that brings the pigeon out of the top hat.
The illusionist is very determined to hide what lies behind the impression of magic. Thus, the patriarchal man is determined to hide what lies behind data appearing so powerful: “magic”.
He neglects intuition as the motor of the whole process, arguing that intuition is negligible, instrumental to external material data. Otherwise, he would have to give up his so-called central role in the life process – external and marginal role, in reality – in favor of women.
The inner life is what matters most. This can be seen mentally as well as physically: the organs of the body where life dwells are internal.
The language, which embodies our way of thinking, makes it unmistakably transparent. We say: “to have an insight into something”, “deep within yourself”, “inner soul” and, of course, “intuition“.
The root of life is inside: physically and mentally.
Making love means for the man to be inside the woman and for the woman to be inside herself.
The Holy Mary embodies the spirit of the perfect woman. https://wonoman.com/woman-and-transcendence-1-mary-breaks-all-taboos/ She becomes pregnant without outside intervention. This does not represent the denial of man’s contribution to conception, only the denial of how patriarchy views and treats sexuality, degrading woman into a pure object.
And this creates our fear of death. The two seem to be so far away, in reality the two facts are strictly related.
Death: the end of the process, recalls the beginning of it: our conception. Did conception take place under the supremacy of feminine values? Then the woman is satisfied and happily nourishes the fruit of her womb. Is this not the case? The spirit of life is transformed into that of death causing fear of life and fear of death throughout the newborn’s existence.
When the woman’s spirit is at the center, we fear neither death nor life: two sides of the same coin.
In the current patriarchy, the woman’s spirit being neglected: the bridge to transcendence is broken. And human beings feel lost: they neither know how to live, nor how to die.
Humans quite spontaneously feel an overwhelming tendency towards totality. They always relate to the whole, and if they are unable to achieve true transcendence, they create artificial worlds for support.
These are never able to meet real needs, something like drugs claiming to replace real food: it will never work.
One example of ersatz is: Love.
The man-woman relation in today’s patriarchy necessarily fails. Why? Because each partner expects from the other what they lack: infinity.
If I’m going to buy bread – because I don’t have it – from someone who wants to buy me bread, no one will get it.
The man-woman relationship in most cases ends in despair, with people insulting each other, accusing the partner of not having given the essentials, the other saying the exact same thing.
They are both right, they both deserve help, not however from the other partner. They need a missing dimension: the transcendence, what goes beyond them.
The man most often accuses the woman of not being feminine, of not being generous. How can a woman give if she hasn’t received anything? The woman can only give what she has. And yet, she has been deprived of her interiority by the patriarchy: her interior world is killed to favor the exterior world: so that the man wins the competition with the woman and becomes her king.
Look at the existing values, these are all male values: based on antagonism, possession and struggle. The language used delivers a fairly transparent message about the content conveyed. For example, it is traditionally said that a man “conquers” a woman: in the same way as one conquers a city: through combat. Let’s analyze other examples
Man’s love is a woman’s “possession“
When a man makes “love” to a woman, it is said that he “possesses” her. One equally says that he possesses a house, a car, a bank card … and a wife.
A man “makes love”. Similarly, he makes a cake, makes a good deal: he can make it.
A man “falls” in love” with a woman. In the same way we say that someone falls and breaks his neck, gets sick. Likewise, it is said that he falls in love. One could observe how we say the same thing when we talk about women. Except that the language is under a major influence of men.
Should this be the language of love? What is there feminine in there?
To the objection: women use the same language as men, we’ll answer again: “Of course. It should not be forgotten, however, that such language was created by men to suit patriarchy at the expense of women”.
A major problem should be reported. It is not by changing the language that you will change reality, it is by changing reality that the language will automatically change.
We have to make something absolutely clear. This is not about accusing men: they are victims just like women, of the same cultural heritage.
Feminists who accuse today’s men of all the patriarchal crimes of the past are simply falling into tribalism. They don’t judge by the individual. They don’t follow facts and rationality. They just follow feelings and pursue tribal revenge: you pay for what your fathers did.
The only way to solve today’s problems is to enhance feminine values, thus allowing women to exist as women, and no longer as an ersatz version of man.
To achieve this, we must lift the taboo that does not allow us to conceive of transcendence, nor interiority: both rejected simply because they are the kingdom of women par excellence.
If the woman recovers from the disease of patriarchal feminism, which made her a castrated man, if she can be herself: regain her inner life, then the bridge to transcendence will be immediately restored With it, the fear of death will disappear: knowing that there is an alternative to the emptiness we currently experience.
No, life is not only exterior life, it is not only interior life, it is the conjugation of the two and with it the conjunction with transcendence, which only woman can establish.
Knowing why we fear death, we also know how and who can make us overcome it: the preeminence of women.
