Sex and interiority. Naked Women=Naked Truth Part 2.

As much as men love sex, so much they devalue women. They accuse women by blaming them for all their desires. Are men the most afraid of their own fear?

What is their fear?

Do they project onto the woman what does not belong to her and do they escape to avoid facing their fault?

The first Fear Mask is the Preference for Machines

The craze for machines is entrenched in patriarchy.

And men generally do not like the idea that women get too close to these machines.

In general the higher the misogyny, the stronger the jealousy of the machines.

An example:

Saudi Arabia, one of the most misogynist countries in the world, prohibited women from driving cars until 2018. That’s not an arbitrary connection.

Let’s take a look behind the scenes.

How do you know when a child is born, whether it is a girl or a boy? By looking at the child’s genitals. There is a major difference between the two. Boy’s genitals are to be seen immediately because they are outside. While the girl’s genitals are not immediately visible, they are inside.

One could say that man’s genitals are touchable and maneuverable. Are those not the characteristics of machines?

Since the parallel seems a bit haphazard, we have to go deeper and scrutinize the way humans beings look at genitals.

Sex: Fun or function

The sexual organs are considered by some to be a major source of pleasure, their other functions being purely incidental.  Alternatively, some see reproduction as the main objective of the genitals, pleasure is a supplement.

If the two visions are irreconcilable, they both have one thing in common: the enormous importance given to the genitals. They are both right, which is why they can agree on this point. Science has proven it showing unquestionable evidence that there are sexual biological differences, even at the cellular level.

So with our body, it would be foolish to pretend that our mind lives fully detached.

That would be equivalent to saying that we live in a completely dematerialized world while preaching we are made of matter.

World-renowned philosopher and psychoanalyst Luce Irigaray shows experimental evidence of the difference between male and female mental structure. Boys are more likely to value what is outside: objects. While girls focus more on human values, one could say interiority.

There is no difference in quality between the two, however, you can always make a neutral characteristic an instrument of your goals.

Patriarchy wants to show the superiority of the man over the woman, by maximizing what is external. Unfortunately, he is the first to suffer from this claim.

The patriarchal man cannot come to terms with his interior life, because he cannot come to terms with the woman.

It’s easy to see someone having problems if they go from one extreme to the other. This is precisely the case of the patriarchal man, especially in his relation to transcendence. The woman, with her physical structure equivalent to her mental structure, embodies in the imagery of humans interior life.

Language tells us quite clearly about it. When we talk of our thoughts and feelings, we often say, “deep down inside…“. We locate, so to speak, the source of our life “inside” and we value it above all.

Language is the mirror of the culture from which it emerges, but in this case, it is only one side of the coin.

Although recognizing that the woman is at the origin of the deepest thoughts of men, the latter try as much as possible to avoid the visibility of the conjunction: interiority is to the advantage of the woman. While they have used different strategies and techniques throughout history.

Sex and interiority: going deeper

Either the beyond is conceived so far from humans that interiority can do nothing to bridge the gap. And only mystics could relate to the divine.

Or, the value of interiority is completely undermined by the overvaluation of materiality.

In both cases, the woman is ignored.

To shift the woman from her central role in life as a source of interior inspiration means for the man to miss the point and lose his orientation.

By removing the woman who represents the bridge between this world and the hereafter, he loses sight of this world and beyond.

A major consequence of this is that he tends to go from one extreme to the other, from the strong spiritualism and mysticism of the Middle Ages to the pure materialism of modern times.

In other words, the woman represents the connection without solution of continuity, with transcendence.

Breaking free

The patriarchal man, by taking the first position in life, that of the woman, prevents her from making the bridge between the earth and the sky.

So he must either jump beyond the woman, directly into transcendence, or he must remain a prisoner of this world.

A further consequence is that the man, having removed the woman and taken her place, feels guilt.

The patriarchal man overturns the accusations that his own conscience dictates to him, against the woman, by charging her with all possible faults.

The first meeting the man has with the woman is that of the child with his mother. It is an oral relation as she is feeding him. It is the first and most important link with the world: we approach and enjoy the world by mouth.

In all of life, when we appreciate something, we use our mouth to express it. We use words or by using our mouth directly: by kissing.

If the mouth is the place of all that is positive, its exact opposite, the negative pole of orality is anality.

As much as the mouth refers to what we accept, we love and assimilate, the anus recalls what we refuse, despise and want to get rid of.

The patriarchal man, who feels guilty and is looking for an excuse to ward off any possible accusation finds it very useful to demonize the woman. How? Simply by turning her nurturing role, source of life into a lethal one, source of death: by turning orality into anality.

Patriarchy demonizes the woman’s vital genitalia reducing them to a purely sexual object. The same way sexuality is experienced by the soldier. Assimilating female sexuality to anality, discarding it after use.

Rebound

Unfortunately for the patriarchal man, what he does to the woman comes back to him like a boomerang.

By transforming the woman’s genitals into unwanted “infected” organs, he himself becomes a poisoned object because it is there his own origin.

It is not the only drawback that he must endure. By diminishing the woman, he decreases the value of his own interiority.

Feeling Guilty

Because the patriarchal man does not feel comfortable in patriarchy, he goes in search of excuses that allow him to justify the replacement of the woman by himself as a central figure of life and society.

Reversing the aggressor victim process, the aggression becomes fully justified while the woman is trapped in a vicious circle.

She either renounces the full development of herself, of her sexuality, and retreats, or she accepts it to be disgusting. The object the patriarchy made of her. In both cases, she loses herself and doesn’t know who she is. She only knows what the man has told her about the woman.

Is that enough? No! The problem is that man has power, not knowledge and not will. The woman has the capacity, but not the power to use it.

21st century feminism aims to bring the two sides together, the two extremes. So far they remain separate, they are incompatible. Synthesis: the totality is necessary, which is typical of the woman, while the man tends to partialization: war is only a struggle between separate parties that become hostile because they refuse to compose.
